Class Levels & Groupings

01.

For youngest / most dependent children needing high support. Sometimes broken into Care Group A, B, C, D.

02.

— Pre-Primary

Early years before formal schooling; focus on foundational skills (e.g. social, sensory, motor)

03.

— Primary I, II, III

Early grades of basic formal schooling adapted to special needs (age and ability appropriate)

04.

— Secondary / Middle Level

Higher grades after primary, for children who can engage with more structured academics

05.

— Prevocational I & II

Transitional classes before vocational training—introduce life skills, orientation to work-related tasks

06.

— Autism Class

A separate grouping for children on the autism spectrum with specialized interventions

07.

For older students, more focus on vocational skills, livelihood, craft, work readiness

08.

— Day Care / Sheltered Workshop

For adults / over-21 persons with disabilities, offering activities & productive work (articles, crafts)

Teaching Methodology & Ratios

Use of teaching aids, specially made learning materials, adapted curriculum
Regular assessments: baseline, 1st term, 2nd term to track progress.
Parental involvement: training, workshops to continue therapy / tasks at home.
Classes are structured with small teacher–student ratios (8:1 for mild/moderate, and 4:1 for severe/profound needs).
Activities like field visits, craft workshops, games, celebrations, interschool competitions are integrated for practical exposure and motivation
Use of group teaching plus one-on-one support where needed using the IEP.
